The President of Gabon H.E President Ali Bongo Ondimba, recently opened a central African summit to launch a gathering of the 11-nation Economic Community of Central African States, which he called for devotion to the institutional reform of the community so as to enable the union to adapt to the challenges of the day and strengthen its role as a pillar of the African Union, he said.
The Gabon republic, is a country on the west coast of Central Africa. Located on the equator, Gabon is bordered by Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, the Republic of the Congo on the east and south, and the Gulf of Guinea to the west
